A catenin beta-1 isoform 1 that has been phosphorylated on Ser and Thr residues within the GSK3B recognition motif DSGxxS and the third Thr residue and second Ser residue within the adjacent sequence GATTTAPSLS. Apparently phosphorylation is sequential and occurs from C- to N terminus of the sequence. Phosphorylation of these sites target beta catenin-1 for degradation.
