An interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 1 isoform 1 phosphorylated form in which the phosphorylation by interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 4 (IRAK-4) occurs on the conserved Thr residue (Thr-209 in human) located at the N terminus of the kinase domain. This is the first step following the activation of the TLR/IL-1 receptor complex. This phosphorylation results in a conformational change of the kinase domain.
