A protein that is a translation product of the human CSF2RB gene or a 1:1 ortholog thereof. This gene encodes the receptor beta chain shared by high-affinity IL5, IL3, and GM-CSF receptors. In mouse, there is also a closely related gene that encodes an IL3-specific beta chain.
